Back at the hall we will have a licensed bar and food. The evening will wind up at 11pm when the bar closes. Events like this aren’t just great fun and a chance to get to know everyone – they raise much-needed funds. Our leaders, group executive and other helpers generously give their time for free, but we still need money: to maintain the hall, buy equipment like tents, and support the activities we run every year for the kids. So please do come along – feel free to join or leave at any stage, or just come along to the hall afterwards for food & drink! Please come prepared – we will continue through rain, snow, hail or even blazing sunshine. Some snacks and drinks will be provided at the stops, but bring a packed lunch so that you don’t run out of energy on the walk! As this is a group fundraising event our leaders will not be responsible for children – all children mustbe accompanied by an adult.
