Spooky Bonfire Night – Saturday 4th November 11 October 2023 (updated 31 October 2023) | By admin Our ever popular Spooky Bonfire Night and Fireworks display is back for 2023! Fireworks displays – early show for wee ones at 7:15pm, main show after 8pm Bonfire after the main fireworks Hot food & drink, licensed bar Sparklers Marshmallow toasting at our mini-fire Capacity is limited, so don’t dawdle: Online ticket reservation is sold out – For those already booked, remember you pay at the gate on the night, but you must arrive by 7pm to claim! EventBrite Extra tickets will be available at the gate on the night, queue early to avoid disappointment! Extra tickets are usually available after the early show finishes, when families with very young children tend to leave. So if you don’t get in at first, it’s worth trying again around 7:30pm/8pm. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We’re open from 9:30am – 1:30pm, with stalls to include: Our Scout Tombola Inverleith St Serfs Brownies Cards & Gifts Games & Bric-a-Brac We’ll be having an Outdoor Market – anyone can book a pitch for £10 and sell what you want – contact us now to book! A Big Fundraising Thank You! 31 December 2022 (updated 31 December 2022) | By admin Our recent Coffee Morning and Spooky Bonfire Night raised £1,300 and £2,500 respectively – both fantastic results! The funds raised will contribute towards re-roofing our Scout hall – which we expect to cost £50-100,000. A big thank you to everyone who came along to support us at these events – our members, their parents, our friends and the local community. Thanks also to our many volunteers who made them happen – each event takes effort from dozens of people, putting in several hours on the day and in the planning and aftermath, all fitted around their own lives – well done!
Burnsish Night – Saturday 28th January 2023 12 November 2022 (updated 8 April 2023) | By admin Our Burns(ish) Night Ceilidh is back – come along with the family for a dance, a dram, and delicious food & drink! We’ve got the fantastic Scott Leslie leading our Ceilidh, and there’ll be be a licensed bar, themed food & games, a prize draw and more… Doors open 6:45pm, with the first dance at 7:30pm.
